Honor 8 Pro launched in India at Rs. 29999 With Dual-lens camera & 6GB of RAM

The company has finally launched the Honor 8 Pro, a successor to Honor 8 which was a great phone back then. The OnePlus 5 was launched on 22nd June and was definately a good buy. But the Honor 8 Pro, now, comes in as a competitor to OnePlus 5 with a single variant of 6 GB RAM. The price was a bit high of the Honor 8, but this time Honor has done a great job with the pricing of the Honor 8 Pro by keeping it for just Rs. 29999

The phone comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD display (2560 x 1440 pixels) along with the 2.5D curved glass. It comes with the pixel density of 515 PPI. The device comes with the Kirin 960 octa-core processor which is clocked at 2.4 GHz and comes with Mali G71 GPU. It comes along with 6 GB RAM and 64GB Internal Storage which can be expanded up to 128 GB using a MicroSD Card.

The Camera on Honor 8 was good and this time around, Honor 8 Pro comes with the same camera combination on the back – one 12 Megapixel RGB sensor and one 12 Megapixel monochrome sensor with an aperture of F/2.2. Also, it comes with a Dual-tone LED flash and the fingerprint sensor on the back.

The Honor 8 had an all-glass body, back then, and the company this time came up with a metallic body on the Honor 8 Pro. The device runs Android Nougat based EMUI 5.0 that has recently come up with a lot of new features and upgrades.

For the connectivity, the Honor 8 Pro comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC, and there is USB Type-C connectivity. Talking about the battery, it comes with a 4000 mAh battery which easily lasts for a day. Plus it has got the Quick Charge support this time.

The smartphone is priced at Rs. 29999 and will be available on Amazon India from 10th July.

So this was my take on the Honor 8 Pro’s launch. I’ll be coming up with the full review of this device so make sure you tune in again, for the same. Well, thanks for your precious time. Make sure you are Subscribed to us, so that you don’t miss out on any technological update from up.
